hey! so there are some super sweet sites concerning volunteering and ive been spending my ennntire friday night trying to figure out how i can possibly do all of these amazing things!!
they can match you with stuff in your area and tailored to your skills if you want.
for instannceeee....they have dog walking/playing at local animal shelters..(love it!)...
and if you love making cards (meee!) they have local programs where you can make birthday/ etc.
cards for hospice patients. they also need volunteers for people to spend time with them at their homes and just hangout and make them laugh and smile, etc.. seriously perfect ways to share the love of jesus ...and love these people like no other!!
also... rileys childrens hospital has tooons of opportunities for various things... child life volunteers (reduce stress & anxiety) ...magic castle cart (push around this huge castle of fun! and hand out toys and games!)... they have a monthly reading program, etc etc...
they take individuals AND groups. so if you wanna hook up witme we can be full of sunshine together!
